Various Equipment

Nano Chip

A small device used to store information. The nano chip contains information about 3 perks of the Plot Twister's choice.

You can install the chip in your neural interface as a Use an Object action. The chip is ejected after a couple seconds, and you can't install the same chip again, but other creatures can.

After installing the chip, when you finish you next complete rest, you gain a level. When you gain this level, you can choose one of the 3 perks installed on this chip on top of any perk you would normally have access to.

Hardlight Projector - glitchy

This projector can be used to enhance the effects of a prism. Using a prism with this generator requires spending an extra 5โšก.

Hardlight Projector - damaged

This projector can be used to enhance the effects of a prism. Using a prism with this generator requires spending an extra 10โšก.

Hardlight Projector - good condition

This projector can be used to enhance the effects of a prism. Using a prism with this generator requires spending an extra 20โšก.

Hardlight Projector - intact

This projector can be used to enhance the effects of a prism. Using a prism with this generator requires spending an extra 40โšก.

Thermal Vision Goggles

You can see in darkness while wearing these goggles. The goggles stop working until you finish a short rest if you take fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ or cryo โ„ damage.

Deployable Fortifications

You can use this object to deploy a 1m wide, 1m tall, 5cm thick wall on the ground, or fold it back into your inventory. The wall is made of ballistic fiber, and it provides cover, but is destructible (10 armor).

Repair Kit

You can use this object to repair a robot within 1m of you. The robot regains up to 2d6 hit points.

Ball Bearings

When you use this object, you empty a bag of ball bearings on solid ground next to you.A 2m square is covered in bearings. A creature which attempts to walk through the area must succeed on a medium (DC 10) Speed check or it can't move until the end of its turn.The creature can choose to treat the area as difficult terrain to succeed automatically.

A 15m long rope.

Lie Detector

This device can be installed on a willing, restrained or incapacitated creature.Once installed, the device beeps loudly whenever the creature lies, unless it succeeds on a hard (DC 12) Bluff check.

Jetpack

You can spend 5๐Ÿงช at the start of your turn, to gain the ability to fly until the start of your next turn.

Fire Extinguisher

You can use this object to put out fire in a 5m square. Once used, this object cannot be used again, and you do not gain any ๐Ÿงช by scrapping it.

Handcuffs

You can use this item to cuff a restrained or unconscious creature. The creature is restrained while the cuffs remain on. The cuffs can be broken with a hard (DC 12) Vigor check.

Gas Mask

While wearing this mask, you ignore the negative effects caused by airborne toxins, poisons, pollution, etc...

Voice Modulator

You can use this item to change your voice to. You can either make your voice sound unrecognizable, or make your voice sound like someone else's.

Signal Jammer

You can use this item and spend 5โšก to disrupt all radio communication in a 500m radius for 1 minute.

Police Scanner

You can use this item to scan one person you can see. The scanner tells you their age, name, the profession they had before the Flare if they had one, and if they had a criminal record and/or an outstanding warrant before the Flare.
