Grit
Grit represents your character's strength and resilience. It is the attribute of soldiers, mercenaries, raiders, and other hired muscle who can force their will onto a battlefield.
Qualities & flaws. Here are typical character traits which depend on grit. You can use this for your character, or come up with different traits of personality:
- Characters with high grit tend to be confident, and reliable, but can sometimes be reckless, or boastful.
- Characters for whom grit is their lowest attribute tend to be careful, and calm, but could sometimes be lazy, or paranoid.
Mechanical uses. Grit is the attribute of melee bruisers, and tanks who can protect the rest of their team by taking hits for them.
- Hit Points: your character's maximum hit points are 3 + your Grit.
- Melee Damage: when you do a melee attack, you add your Grit to the damage.
- Actions: Taunt, Shove, Grapple, Brace, Interpose
- Perk Trees: Brawler, Juggernaut
- Skill Trees: The Muscle
