Sunlight

Since the Flare, the strength Earth's magnetic sphere has been reduced by a factor of 10. This is expected to last for the next 7000 years. Because of this, being exposed to the Sun is one of the main dangers in the world of Flare Fall.

Under direct sunlight:

  • Humans and animals take 1 wound for every minute they spend under direct sunlight. (Simple clothes or umbrellas aren't sufficient protection from the cosmic rays)
  • Robots and devices are incapacitated
  • Any item with 📻electronic components cannot be used (you cannot make attacks with it if it's a weapon, you cannot use the use an object action with that item, and if it's a vehicle, it cannot move)
  • Any radio telecommunication that goes through an area of sunlight is jammed and becomes impossible to decypher.
