Damage Types
Different weapons deal damage of different types:
Damage type | Examples | |

๐จ | Bludgeoning | baseball bats, falling from a height, etc |
โ | Piercing: | knives, guns, bites, etc |
๐ช | Slashing | swords, knives, claws, etc |
๐งช | Acid | corrosive chemicals, etc |
โ | Cold | cryo grenades, liquid nitrogen, etc |
โก | Electricity | stun gun, live wires, etc |
โ | Explosive | rocket launcher, shockwave, etc |
๐ฅ | Fire | molotov cocktail, flame thrower, laser rifle, etc |
๐ | Poison | venom, toxic fumes, etc |
โข | Radiation | the sun |
Resistance. If a creature is resistant to a damage type, damage rolls of that type have disadvantage against that creature.
Vulnerability. If a creature is vulnerable to a damage type, damage rolls of that type have advantage against that creature.
Immunity. A creature who is immune to a damage type takes no damage from that damage type, and doesn't suffer the associated condition on a critical hit.
